Sorry you had...Hope all goes well with your house. Sorry you had a bad stretch of work. But now you get to look forward to that shift where not much goes on, and you don't have to feel guilty for not working hard because of all the days you run your butt off. I just started back to work yesterday (pediatric cardiology) for my 4 hour shift a week. (I am in Canada and am on maternity leave and 4 hours is the most money I can earn a week and still get my mat leave) It was great to be back and see all my friends, but I too had a bad shift. One of my patients has, among other problems, shaken baby syndrome. So tiny, so precious, so innocent - and his life is ruined. It made my cry, I stood by his crib holding him and just cried.
