my heart (for Simon)
Originally uploaded by peggy..

Today I want to extend my prayers to all those people who have familes involved in the mine tragedy in Utah. I can only imagine what they are going thru and the community as a whole. I grew up in a small community much like this one and know how an event like this is stressful on the whole community.I also want to extend my prayers to all those in Peru who are suffering thru the earthquake and its aftermath.I also want to send prayers to all the southerners from home who are bracing for the Possibility of Hurricane Dean.

So many tragedies but there is power in prayer.

This is a beautiful post. I share in your thoughts and prayers for all of the people who are struggling with devastation, loss, grief and fear.

Thank you for visiting my blog and for leaving a question there. Yes, I do live in the Willamette Valley. I'm in Canby, just south of Portland. Where are you in Yamhill County? Aren't we blessed to live in this wonderful part of God's creation?
