Yes ... these folks have been in my prayers since I heard about the Tornados. Such devastation and sorrow!
Congratulations on reaching your 200th post! Giving away the book is a wonderful way to celebrate and thank your readers, but since I already have a copy (though I've yet to read it), please leave my name out.
Hugs and blessings,
I just read about the storms this morning. I will most definitely keep the people and their families in my thoughts and prayers.
As for the book, I have not had the chance to read it, so I would gladly put my name in the hat.
Congrats on your 200th post!
I just can't believe this news about the tornadoes. . .we are really victims of the weather in cases like this. I'll be praying.
Wow, 200th post -- congrats!! I have this book, but haven't read it. He was a frequent guest on New Morning on the Hallmark Channel before it was cancelled in January :O( I liked him a lot.
Tornadoes have been a childhood nightmare of mine, although we don't typically get them in Germany. But to this day they terrify me and for good reason as yesterday's devastation shows; the wrath of nature at its worst. I'll be thinking of the people and their families.
Congrats on post 200! This made me check how many posts I have published over the last 2.5 years because I had no idea. 352.
I haven't heard of this author, I like the cover of this book :)
Nature is a terrifying force, and reminds us all how fragile our existence here is.
I will gladly put my name in the draw, especially as I rarely buy myself books.
Congratulations on the 200, your site is always interesting to visit.
Congratulations on your 200th post! How exciting for you.
Of course, I'd love to get a new book I haven't read! Thanks for putting my name in.
What a nice surprise for you to visit my blog. I hope you will come and visit again soon. I live in AL and we got the remmnents of that storm today, but no bad weather here...just thunderstorms. However, a former pastor from this area had his brand new church building completely destroyed in that tornado. Left the old building standing, though.
Nice to meet you.
Congrats on your 200th post! How kind of you to offer the book for a giveaway. It looks like a great read! Also, thanks for your visit to my blog.
I live in Kansas and have all my life...I have had many close encounters with tornadoes. Absolutely terrifying! My prayers and heart go out to those who lost so much to these storms in the southern US.
I've already got this one, so don't add me to the drawing. Yolanda, where in the South are you from?
Yolanda, Congratulations on your 200th post. I don't know this writer, but I have a midwife!
That was some horror that struck the south. Unbelievable. I will await word from reputable agencies on how best to support those who are suffering from the tornadoes. God bless.
Happy 200th Yolanda! That sounds like a great book too...sign me up.
I hadn't heard about the devastating tornadoes...I'm somewhat out of the loop here, but my thoughts and prayers are going out to the people who have lost homes and loved ones.
I heard about that devastation on the news last night. It's so sad as we see people picking up the broken pieces.
Looks like a great read.
Your 200th post. Are we supposed to do something significant when we reach a milestone?
Congratulations on the 200th but no need to include me as I live too far away for posting a book!
I have been reading about the tornadoes - just horrific.
I'd like to get in on that give away!
We're alright here in the Memphis area. Thanks for asking.
Mama bear
Hey Yolanda,
Thanks for visiting my blog. I live in NJ so I was no where near affected by the storms.
Hey! thanks for stopping by my blog! I am actually in South Carolina!
CONGRATS on your 200th post!
It was so sad to hear about the folks affected by the tornadoes...
Hello! I would love to be entered, this book is on my list. Like your blog!
We were shocked at the idea of tornados in Feb. and saddened by the loss.
I need the company of a good book. Count me in!
That gorge is breath taking.
XXOO
Sure -- when I hit 200 I'll do the same!
Weather terrifies me. When I was three our house was destroyed by a tornado while my mom, sister and I cowered in the basement. By destroyed I mean unlivable, gone.
When I was 7 months pregnant with my daughter (middle kid), some kind of 'line' winds that were nearly tornado level picked up a 100 foot, 15 ton tree and tossed it onto our house where it came INSIDE in four places and destroyed the roof, the masterbedroom, the garage and one car.
And cracked the wall alongside sleeping toddler's crib.
Weather terrifies me.
I can't believe how devastating the weather has been..
so sad..but I saw a baby rescued in a field ..poor mama died..
Put my name in the hat..I love to read!!
