I woke this morning and for just a few minutes didn't remember it was 9/11 till getting on here.

I just wanted to take today to remember all those who lost their life on this day. I also want to express by deep appreciation to all those who serve our country and are there when everyone else is fleeing( the military, police officers, firefighters, paramedics, first responders and nurses).I know that when things are at the worst and disaster looms that those who protect you in times of peace will always be there in times of turmoil.I know from being a nurse that often one of the most appreciated things you can do for this group is a word of Thanks.
I wish to say Thank You to those who protect us.

“...when we finally know we are dying, and all other sentient beings are dying with us, we start to have a burning, almost heartbreaking sense of the fragility and preciousness of each moment and each being, and from this can grow a deep, clear, limitless compassion for all beings.” –Sogyal Rinpoche

Amen. Here's to honoring those who perished by being kinder to each other and embracing all the possibilities for goodness.

Hi Yolanda
Thanks for popping over. Here in Australia we felt your tradegy and loss and haven't forgotten either. My grandfather was 33 years in the Sydney Firebrigade so I will always admire the bravery and commitment of all the rescue services. This week in September will forever be a sad one for me. Take Care x Julie
