Hope Everyone is having a lovely , happy , and safe Christmas. I am so glad my friends down south (home) got a White Christmas. I will be back next week with posts and Book Reviews. Hope all of you know how very bright and merry you have made my holidays.
Lots of love,
Yolanda, Vince, Moe,Sadie, Kalu and Emma(the furry babies)

Deep down inside we know
that the best gifts
don't come from catalogs
or shopping malls
They don't come in brightly-colored packages
or fancy envelopes
and they're not sitting under a tree somewhere...
The best gifts come from the heart.
They come when we look at each other
REALLY look at each other
and say 'You mean a lot to me'
or 'I'm so glad you're a part of my life'
A gift like that
will never go out of style
or be forgotten
or be returned for a different size.
A gift like that can change the world.

I know I'm not really getting my wishes in on time. The truth is, it's just after midnight, but I still had to come by and wish you the merriest Christmas season ever. I want to thank you for making my life richer by sharing your blog and by reading mine. You are a blessing to me. Merry, merry Christmas, my frined. May the coming week bring you laughter, joy, short returns lines, and lots of good deals at the after-Christmas sales. ;^) Much love, Relyn

Thank you, Yolanda! :o) Hope this finds you having a cozy Christmas holiday. We’re just emerging from some very festive days just now. Later in the week is my birthday–hubby’s taking me out to lunch. Then we ring in New Year already–it’s a great time just now! Happy Days, my ((HUGS))

I love Ron Atchison's words you posted...it is so true. I wish everyone could receive this gift and the world would change!! I guess we are going to have to start giving it out more often for that to happen...along with a miracle! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Many blessings to you for the new year...be safe and happy!

SPOT ON!!!!!!!

So many of us spend our lives chasing things that have no substance, no real or lasting value when, in fact, all around us, there is so much to appreciate and be grateful for, so much beauty in a sunset and a sunrise, the sight of a little bird flitting about finding its next meal, a gentle breeze cooling us on a hot day, the love of our families and friends...the list is endless. These are all priceless gifts given every day and yet, how many of us put any value on them!
