"I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.
It would be terrible if we just skipped
from September to November,
wouldn’t it?”

L.M. Montgomery,
author of Anne of Green Gables

the breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you.
don’t go back to sleep.
you must ask for what you really want.
don’t go back to sleep.
people are going back and forth between the
door sill where the two worlds touch.
the door is round and open.
don’t go back to sleep.

Hi Yolanda - thanks for stopping by. I love the quote and if you don't mind I'd like to use it on a Fall post I'm doing. I enjoyed reading some of your other posts. I really like what you have to say - you have a great attitude! :)

I love that thought. It's wonderful, for sure, to live in a world where there are Octobers. And it has been a glorious month where I live.

Yolanda, thanks so much for stopping by today. I notice you are an RN. I've been around a lot of nurses in my life. My father was a family practice physician, and in recent days with his care we have been surrounded by a lot of wonderful nurses who have made life a lot easier for us! Grace and peace to you, and thanks for you kind words!

Hi, Yolanda! So glad you stopped by my place this week... great to see you! And to be able to get here to see you. Anne of Green Gables was one of my very fave childhood reads, and love it still. And Rumi always is a guide for me... I love October--it is a sweet time of year. :o) Happy Autumn ((HUGS))

I completely agree! I love this! I haven't heard this before. I love October as well. It is so pretty with the leaves changing and the sunshine just feels like it's the perfect temperature, don't you think. I love October because it is our last hoorah! month before winter. :) Thanks so much for visiting my blog. I love your comments very much!

Hi Yolanda,

I just love October, and marvel at God's beautiful works; it's my favorite time of the year when the brilliance of the colors and the gradual cooling of the weather make everything fascinating!

Happy October! :)

Thanks for your kind comment at my blog. I hope to see you again come time. I´m following you on Pinterest and twitter now.
I love October´s too. But only when I´m up north. Over here they can be VERY hard, because usually we´ve had a dry winter and are constantly looking out for rain. This year we´re lucky and had some early rains.

Dear Yolanda,
Yes, I love this season the best☆
Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment!

At first I misunderstood your comment as a crank mail, so sorry. I pasted back from mail box.
Anyways, I attended my student's wedding, not my daughter. I haven't blessed with a child, hehe.

I am so glad I live in that world with October's as well! That's a great Anne quote!
I'm glad you're back blogging - I've missed your heartfelt posts. Super busy time of work for me, but when my inventory season is over I'm coming back to read every word I've missed so far.
Praying that you going home has been everything and more that you thought it would be!

Yolanda,
Oh, wonderful October! Agree completely.

And as for "don't go back to sleep" - well, I have been awake since 4:36 a.m., so I am pretty sure that isn't going to happen today. :)

Thank you for stopping by Spots and Wrinkles and leaving a comment. Blessings to you - Marsha

Hi Yolanda,

Thanks for visiting me. I love the Pinterest link, and I visited your book blog. We have the same taste. Hamish Macbeth is and old favorite, and I just discovered Chief Inspector Gamache about a month ago.
