Simple Thoughts for Saturday

'

I love this Prayer I need to pray it everyday. There is so much truth here.I didn't  write it but at one time or the other I have had all these nots.

Another something to melt your heart this Saturday!

He had just saved her from a fire in her house, rescuing her by carrying her out of the house into her front yard, while he continued to fight the fire. She is pregnant. The firefighter was afraid of her at first, because he had never been around a Doberman before. When he finally got done putting the fire out, he sat down to catch his breath and rest. A photographer from the Charlotte, North Carolina newspaper, “The Observer,” noticed this red Doberman in the distance looking at the fireman. He saw her walking straight toward the fireman and wondered what she was going to do. As he raised his camera, she came up to the tired man who had saved her life and the lives of her babies, and kissed him, just as the photographer snapped this photograph

He is a Chief Master Sergeant in the USAF serving in Afghanistan
As high as you can go in enlisted ranks (E-9)
John Gebhardt's wife, Mindy, said that this little girl's entire family was executed.
The insurgents intended to execute the little girl also, and shot her in the head...but they failed to kill her.
She was cared for in John 's hospital and is healing up, but continues to cry and moan.
The nurses said John is the only one who seems to calm her down, so John has spent the last four nights holding her while they both slept in that chair. The girl is coming along with her healing.
He is a real Star of the war, and represents what the combined service is trying to do.

God Bless our Military and all those in public service. There are no words to expresss my gratitude for what they do.

I have not seen this poem before. It is so true in our lives. The nots can really get you down.

I used to have a Dobberman. They are amazing dogs. I adore that picture of the fireman and the Dobbie.

I have seen this picture of this young child and this amazing soldier.

Thanks so much for sharing some awesome thoughts and photos today. Have a wonderful weekend.

The prayer is a perfect reminder to me right now. I hope I will keep it in mind.
The other pictures show the best of those who serve others.
