I want to thank Mscindylou42 for this photo. I Love lavender and this pic was taken in Sequim, Wa wher they have the Sequim Lavender Festival each year. This year it is July 20-22. My sister is hopefully coming for a few days around that time and I want to go up and see these gorgeous lavender fields in all their glory. You can check out the festival site Lavender Festival .
We have had almost two weeks of beautiful sunny weather here in the northwest and I am wanting to garden in a big way. All of the stores are putting out their seeds and bulbs for summer and I can wait to get started.

Hi Yolanda - You always post such beautiful pictures! Just wanted to let you know there are a couple of local lavender festivals here in Oregon as well. I know there's a farm that I pass on my way from Hillsboro to Newberg. I'm a lavender nut as well! Just bought "Tom's of Maine" Lavender all natural deodorant last week - yummy!
