First I want to thank yan ardianto for the pic from flickr.

I had to work the past two days so wasn't able to take any photo's of the snow .This Road is right up above my house and this is what it looked like yesterday. Cannon Beach even got several inches of snow Wednesday night. (click on cannon beach link in sidebar)
The mountains here are so pretty when it snows.
I haven't blogged in a while as I have been busy with work and we are still trying to get moved in here and settled and our life back to some sort of normal routine again.
I am eagerly anticipating spring when I can plant some flowers in our yard.
I hope to get back into somewhat of a normal blogging rountine again. I still enjoy it very much and love reading everyone eles blogs. My hope is when my life settles down somewhat that I can get back to taking more pics and blogging more.
I have been reading on other blogs about their resolutions or the words they have choses to symbolize this year for them. After some thought I think that my word will be AUTHENTIC.
I want to live my life this year and have it be not someone else's ideal of what my life should be be but what I feel like I want it to be.I want my life in all its facets to be about staying true to the course I have set and doing the things the make me uniquely me.
I think sometime we all get caught up in trying to be like others and often times don't even realize we are doing it. I know I have done this because I often think well maybe if others are doing it I should too. I want this year to be about following my own path ,living simply and with balance and above all enjoying the journey.
I have been praying and keeping Darlene in my thoughts and prayers and I am happy to see that her son Mark is making progress with his healing.I hope he continues to do so.

It is important that we are true to our authentic self. I have also felt this way. Being aware is always the first step.

Beautiful picture!

Thanks for sharing authentically from your heart! I agree, sometimes the biggest challenge in life is just to be who we were created to be! We'll continue on the journey together!
