Friendship

My Wish for You in 2008 :

May peace break into your house and may thieves come to steal your debts.
May the pockets of your jeans become a magnet of $1000 bills.
May love stick to your face like Vaseline and may laughter assault your lips!
May your clothes smell of success like smoking tires and may happiness slap you across the face
May your tears be that of joy.

May the problems you had, forget your home address!

In simple words ............ May 2008 be the best year of your life!!!
GOD BLESS YOU
I recieved this from an old friend and thought I would share it with all of you it made me smile. I truly hope that 2008 is the best year of your life.
The photo was taken at Siletz Bay on the Oregon Coast. I had never seen so many sea lions in one place and that close. I was on the other side of the sand spit but this guy was sitting really close to them. It was my pocket of delight on that first day of 2008.

Oh my, this 2008 wish is wonderful. I also smiled when I read this. It was delightful. Thank you for sharing this perfect post!
Also, the photo is amazing. I have not seen a sea lion before so that would be a wonderful gift to have them so close like that!
I thank you for visiting my blog and the nice comment. I hope to see you again!

The wishes were lovely.
The photo of the sealions gives me hope that spring will come. They usually head north to our island around May/June. It also captures the grey of the West Coast perfectly.

I received this too. It's neat :) Your photos are wonderful. I especially love the sunset. I envy you living by the sea. I used to when I was in Australia, and miss it. I'd love to see those sealions in 'person'.
Enjoyed your wishes for 2008 and I like your word, 'revitalize' too :)
Thanks for stopping by and saying hello! It's nice to 'meet' you!

Where in Oregon are you? The Everybodyfields, one of my favorite bands from Johnson City, Tn is playing up there before too long.

I remember spending time with the sea lions on the coast, but I don't think I ever saw this many together. Love the picture.

i love your photographs! i laughed aloud at your wishes - quite creative of whoever designed these new year wishes! :)

siletz bay - a place we spend each july 4th week and usually another week during the year. we have never seen the sea lions like that, however. we have seen them swimming in the river just down from the bay.

we had a wonderful meal at the bay house while the fireworks made a light canopy over the bay on july 4. such a lovely place to be, and we love sleeping with our door open to the sea as it lulls us to sleep.

I love this...makes me laugh with it's undertone of the sinister actually taking your problems away. Thieves steal your debts....oh, if only!
