This is for Skywatch Friday. This photo is one of my favorites. I think it depicts the West Coast lifestyle so well with the ocean at sunset and the surfer. I hope you enjoy it.
The heart can think of no devotion
Greater than being shore to the ocean-
Holding the curve of one position,
Counting an endless repetition.

Oh I want the beach sooooo much that is so lovely I like the tiny surfer,I bet they feel that small in the huge ocean
The people along the water's edge highlight the magnificence of the seascape! I can see why this is a favorite!
Yes, I did enjoy this beautiful shot! Makes me want to get on the beach!
I love this photo:)
Wow - this should be printed on brochures promoting vacation destinations! What a spectacular photo!
excellent, the sky and the ocean, together made a beautiful photo, well done.
I like this picture. I live near by the see and hope to do that for ever.
Just beautiful, really peaceful looking.
Thanks for visiting my lil ol blog and kind comments.
See my sand storm!
I love the rugged coastline of the Pacific, very different from the Gulf of Mexico, our nearest beach.
You asked in my blog (my photo was of the Confederate memorial statue and the US and GA flags). I live in SW Georgia, near the borders of Florida and Alabama.
Nice shot. I love the beach. You cannot go wrong with water and sky pictures, always beautiful.
Oh that is a wonderful shot! You really caught it here...
Wish it was me waking on the beach!
Nice shot!
Ohh...i can feel the peas and cam. I love the sea,.
I wish I were there
Guess what? I love this. This is a perfect shot. Here at the Norwegian west coast and in the fjords we don`t have many beaches like this.
Yes I like it, it feels like home. We have see all around. Thanks for visiting and your nice comment.
Ah yes, the west coast indeed. You have captured the essence of it here, Yolanda, beautiful.
Surfing is big on the west coast of our island. My son's teacher (over 50) separated her shoulder this summer, surfing! Then went out for one more day just because it was the last day of the trip and you couldn't waste a day surfing!!
The ocean and the beach bring me much contentment. Thank you for reminding me of this.
Serene looking. Awesome photo. That's me carrying my surfboardbroom. Did you not recognize me?
Beautiful ocean pic!

It looks so warm and pleasant there! Do you guys get to the beach often?
This is really pretty. I've never been to the West Coast - The picture looks very relaxing and calm.
I love the ocean shots.
This is a lovely (if familiar) shot for me. It certainly DOES capture the essence of "beach life" and the die-hard surfers who stay until the light fades entirely.
Hugs and blessings,
love.love.love this!
You have a lovely site. Thanks for visiting my blog!
makes me anxious for warmer weather so I can bury my toes in the sand and let the water wash up around my ankles until I can't stand the cold any longer...beautiful picture, lovely poem...happy Friday to you!
beautiful seascape! This is worth looking at for hours...
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I love your ocean picture.
I live an hour from the coast in Southern California. It's interesting, but when I look out over the ocean, the sun sets toward the upper right hand corner of the picture. Must be because you're further north.
I also viewed the tornado video. Thank you so much for sharing that. It blessed me.
Beautiful water photographs - love the way the light catches the wave ones..!
Hi Yolanda. What a beautiful photo and words. I absolutely love the sea its sound. It is so relaxing.
Yolanda is by the way a very common name in Holland, although they write it often with a J in the beginning.
Thanks for visitng my blog
Ahh, great photo! From somewhere in frozen Minnesota, I can truly say, 'I wish I was there.'
You know I love the sea. There's a quote from Dr. Zhivago that I came across yesterday - - made an impact on me and I think you'll like it too.. I gotta look it up. I'll post it on my blog later.
Hugs this Saturday.

I love the ocean too. Beautiful photo, and who could say it better than RF.....
This is lovely. I think that few poets understood both love and nature as Frost did.
Your photo is beautiful and does capture West Coast living perfectly.
Makes you just want to take a walk and breathe!
Oh I wouldn't have noticed the surfer if you hadn't said. Such a cool photo ~ Julia x
