Pistol River STate Park

I know I haven't post much of late. I seem to be in some sort of funk. I hope to get my wits together and be back to normal soon.

I am so looking forward to summer right now. Here are some of the things I want to do this summer.

Go and read on the beach or in the dunes with the sounds of the ocean as my backdrop.
Go To Seattle for a Day Trip.
Go to Crater Lake National Park to see"the Mirror of the heavens".
Eat as Locally as possible.
Expand my cooking skills.
Take lots of photos.
Spend time with those I love.
Have lots of picnics.

Yolanda, I think the best way out of a funk is to have lots of things to look forward to, and you've got a great list started!

I hope that the coming spring weather will help you out of your funk. I am looking forward to the time to spend with those I love, time to travel, time to sit on my patio in the morning and drink my coffee slowly. And take more pictures!

that is a lovely list of things to do...mostly because they all sound especially enjoyable. I, too, have felt the funk of waiting, waiting for true spring and summer.

I hope you get to do all those things Yolanda. And your post about Jamie Lee Curtis really hit home with this 45 this year old.

I’ve missed your posts but assumed you’ve been busy. Welcome back and I hope you get to do all the things on your list ;--)

Great plans...I need to make a few for me too. Winter in Forks can get a little depressing, with all the rain and dark skies so summer time is going to be great!
Love the video in your last post.

I've been feeling the same way--and (unusually for me) not even feeling apologetic for it. It is what it is!

Are you seriously going to try to do all those things this summer? Because that would be fantastic!

What a beautiful shot!! I don't know how you don't print and frame your shots and have them hanging all over your house!!

I love your list of what you want to do this summer. Sounds perfect and very attainable. David and I went to Crater Lake on our trip across American before kids. So beautiful. So hot, until we got to the lake, and there was snow on the ground. I'll never forget it.

Anyway, I hope you move past your funk soon. Just keep focusing on the beauty of summer and your wonderful plans.
