Thanks and Positive Thoughts

.

I encourage you to go to Kind Over Matter and print this off today. Wouldn't it be nice to see one of these in your church, school, or any public place. We all need positive thoughts each day.

I just wanted to thank all of you for your heartfelt and inspiring words on my last post. It made my day that so. many of you cared to comment. I am so grateful.I know everyone who commented doesn't share my personal beliefs but that is okay because that is what makes our world so different and good and at the core of all religious faiths is that good always overcomes evil, and that love overcomes hate and isn't that what we all need.

I will not die an unlived life. I will not live in fear of falling or catching fire. I choose to inhabit my days, to allow my living to open me, to make me less afraid, more accessible, to loosen my heart until it becomes a wing, a torch, a promise. I choose to risk my significance; to live so that which comes to me as seed goes to the next as blossom and that which comes to me as blossom, goes on as fruit.

Beautiful. That is a wonderful idea. I should print it off and hang it all the burger places in town.

Thanks for your wise response to my question today, Yolanda!

I love this poster! Just printed it. I plan to cut the strips, put it up on the fridge and see how long it takes for them to disappear.

What a wonderful poem you've chosen to end this post with, Yolanda - absolutely another one worthy of printing and displaying :)

I'm off to visit Kind over Matter now, too ;) And, have you ever visited Oriah's blog @ The Green Bough? Her entry yesterday was on rekindling her relationship with God. She is the author of The Invitation, among others. I love her writing! So authentic!

Hope you have a WONDERFUL day!

Oh my. That Dawna Markova quote is wonderful. “I will not live in fear of falling or catching fire.” I smiled when I read it, but I so relate to the sentiment behind it.

I’m excited to read this post and Monday’s post too. You go, girl! I pray God will bless your year of “Nurture” and will reveal to you why he is so irresistible when we start seeking him with our whole heart.

I'll look forward to the things you'll share from this journey!

What a wonderful idea! I just went back and read your last post and I think it is wonderful that you have made a choice in your life that "fills you up"! I'm always shocked when someone judges another person without even getting to know them. That woman lost out on a wonderful opportunity to make a new friend.

That poster would be perfect for the notice board where I live. There are a number of painfully negative people who live there and theirs always seem to be the loudest voices.

I just read your last post along with this one. I think the positive thoughts is a great idea! And I also agree with your sentiments in the previous post.
We are what we are, and where we are, and nothing goes to waste in a life lived with God, He can use everything, and He does, and He will.

Oh, how sweet are there... Free Positive Thoughts--a great idea! I think I might tuck some into cards, gifts, my hubby's laptop bag...little uplifting finds. ;o) And what a great site name--Kind Over Matter. A positive though can change the course of a day. Happy Weekend, Yolanda ((HUGS))
Oh, stop by my place, if you can, during the weekend–I’m having a fun Valentine Giveaway! :o)
