We are here in Oregon after driving 15 hours Sunday,13 Monday, and 14 yesterday. We are both very tired . I had two job interviews that went well today.
As we were traveling throughout the country it gave me a lot of time to think about things . I know this move here is for the best for the both of us but it is scary. I know that it will not all be a bed of roses but I know that I need a change of scenery and place from where we lived before. It is hard to explain until you have lost so much of your family in four years time and had to give up a cherished dream of being a mom. I guess like I have said before that life is short and I have learned from the losses in my life it is to be cherished to the full.I know that many people who might read this can't understand but I have only three people in my immeadiate family left and my husband( who has only one sister left).
I don't know when I will be able to post again as I don't know how reliable internet access will be but I will be back and participating again in One Deep Breath and Poetry Thursday.I will be following your blogs .
Another observation I came too while traversing the country is that you really come to treasure our country even more when you travel across it and how diverse and beautiful it really is from the bareness of the Dakotas to the grandeur of the Rockies. I already knew it but this journey confirmed it anew.

Yolanda - Welcome to Oregon! Glad to hear that you made it safe (though I'm sure your beat from the long road trip!). Like Cheryl, I'll be praying for the transition and that it's a smooth one! Blessings.

Welcome! That drive sounds heinous -- I would not be much help on such a long drive because I CANNOT stay awake in cars! So, are you in Portland? Would love to meet you. Hope the interviews go well!
