Skywatch Friday
I am posting this early for SkyWatch Friday. I will be working for the next three days straight and I wanted to make sure and post.I also want to give a little explanation as to why I seem to post at odd times.I am an RN and I work 3-4 twelve hour shifts a week and with the drive to and from work it makes for 14.5 hour days when I work so much I don't feel much like posting on those days . On the days I work basically it consists of work, eat, sleep and repeat.LOL!!
I love this photo it is the classic Oregon shot of the North Caost taken from Cascade Head at Ecola State Park. I never grow tired of it and the huge Monolith is Haystack Rock.
I just want to thank each and everyone of you who visit here. I enjoy reading each of your blogs and getting to know each of you.
Hope you all Have a Terffic Weekend!
Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.

love the picture and also the quote. Might have to use that one on a page somewhere.
I'm happy to read you whenever you post :)
I was wondering about this book yesterday. I haven't read it. I tried to start another one and it was too depressing. The title escapes me right now but I looked last night and it wasn't that one.
Thanks for dropping by,
Mama Bear
Oh wow! This is so beautiful! This is like a painting. Stunning! I am so impressed.
I don't blame you for not wanting to post, that's a brutal shift. I'd be exhausted when I got home, all I want to do is crawl into bed!
Take it easy.

Those are intense work days you have!
I love Ecola State Park (and also bopping around the shops at Cannon Beach) :)
That is a gorgeous photo! Oh, and thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment too.
My sister was a nurse for 10 years...she had those long hours too. She left nursing to do medical transcription and work from home on her own hours...

Love your picture and it does look like a painting! Great quote too.
Great Picture. I don't always post at the same time, nor do I always feel up to it, so I look forward to browsing through at any given time.
Work in the hospital is hard.
I work as a volunteer in the ER ward.
I have come to appreciate all the energy and hard work that nurses to caring for others.
I absolutely love your quotes.
They speak the heart.
This is so beautiful. It reminds me of when we lived in Oregon and would visit the coast. For awhile, we even lived in Newport, so we were close to the beautiful Pacific.
That is awe inspiring. The John Muir quote was made-to-order for this image. God bless.

I have an old polaroid shot of me standing in front of the rock with my dog, taken when I was 19 years old, and skinny as a rail!

Hugs and blessings,
I have been there in Ecola so many times. Haystack Rock/Cannon Beach was one of my favorite places to go when I was a kid.

My Mom's a nurse and I know how tiring an 8-hour shift can be so I can imagine how how tired you are with your three 12s!

The photo is lovely but I especially liked the poem. It made me want to stop and just inhale the words. Thanks for sharing!
