My creation

Pablo Casals : Each second we live is a new and unique moment of the universe, a moment that will never be again. And what do we teach our children? We teach them that two and two make four, and that Paris is the capital of France. When will we also teach them what they are? We should say to each of them: Do you know what you are? You are a marvel. You are unique. In all the years that have passed, there has never been another child like you. Your legs, your arms, your clever fingers, the way you move. You may become a Shakespeare, a Michaelangelo, a Beethoven. You have the capacity for anything. Yes, you are a marvel. And when you grow up, can you then harm another who is, like you, a marvel? You must work, we must all work, to make the world worthy of its children.

I want to say a Huge Thank You to each of you who commented on my last post. Your kind words and thoughts have meant so much to both of us. It means so much to me that each of you took time out of your busy day to think of us. I hope in some small way I can repay the favor.

I chose the quote above and the photos for this reason.Aren't each of us Marvels? I think so . The pictures represent to me the seasons and times of life sometimes we are in the valley and sometime the mountaintop.I again thank each of you for helping us get thru the valley of these past two weeks.

I love this quote and agree fully! I also love Marian Edelman's statement that "It is the responsibility of every adult to make sure that children hear what we have learned from the lessons of life and to hear over and over that we love them."

My thoughts and prayers continue to be with you and your family.
Hugs and blessings,

It is a beautiful and thoughtful quote... there is so much in life to marvel at but for sure, we as individuals are definitely the biggest marvel there is!

Oh my gosh, your photos are beautiful. The coast reminds me of Cannon Beach when I went to visit my daughter in Vancouver. Pat

(I've gotten some comment spam on my blog lately, too.)

That is a lovely quote. I say things like this to my grandchildren, & used to tell my own children how special they are- I still do!
